Jay Yahnke, DDS
Dr. Yahnke feels very fortunate to do a job that he loves, and can improve peoples’ lives on a daily basis. Whether it’s rebuilding a severely broken down mouth or doing that first filling on a nervous child, Dr. Yahnke strives for ultimate comfort and a strong, natural looking smile. By getting to know you and understanding your needs, the relationship you will develop with Dr. Yahnke and everyone at Yahnke Dental will be like no other. Dr. Yahnke will listen, be compassionate, and do whatever is necessary to achieve our common goal of a healthy, pain-free, beautiful smile.
Dr. Yahnke received his Doctor of Dental Surgery at the University of Minnesota Dental School. He attended the University of Minnesota - Mankato where he earned degrees in biology and chemistry. His passion for dentistry motivates him to learn and apply the latest advances in the dental field through continuing education. Dr. Yahnke’s advanced training includes a rigorous hands-on curriculum through the Hornbrook Group of Cosmetic Dentistry. He has also taken numerous courses to be able to provide you with CEREC one visit crowns, Invisalign braces, laser cleanings and soft tissue procedures, one-visit root canals, and oral sedation dentistry through the DOCS Institute. Dr. Yahnke is also an active member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, the American Dental Association, the Wisconsin Dental Association, the La Crosse District Dental Society, World Clinical Laser Institute, and DOCS (Dental Organization for Conscious Sedation).
Outside of the office Dr. Yahnke has a wonderful wife and two kids that keep him very busy. He also enjoys fishing, boating, golfing, exercising and traveling.
